Our MISSION

Did you know that 3 out of 4 white people don't have a single friend of color? We co-founded our non-profit CHOOSE in 2014 as high school sophomores because we weren't talking about race, even though every part of our daily lives—from our neighborhoods to our friend groups—were shaped by racial division.

Now in college, we've traveled to all 50 states and collected stories about race, culture, and intersectionality for a book, Tell Me Who You Are. Will you join this student-led movement to spread racial literacy across America?

LA Lucha in puerto rico

Any American interested in racial literacy should learn about the history of Puerto Rico & U.S. Empire. Our latest resource is a starting place, featuring 11 stories shared with us on the island.

FOR EDUCATORS

In the summer of 2019, we launched the CHOOSE Champions: Educator Fellowship to bring together a passionate team of U.S. educators committed to developing racial literacy curriculum throughout all K-12 subject areas.

This years-in-the-making social justice endeavor is finally here. Tell Me Who You Are is an essential guide to bridging our racially-divided world. It has been called "exactly what our country needs right now." 100% of author proceeds go to CHOOSE.
